About Us

Lynne Fabricant, founder and master sailmaker, has recently retired after 35 years in the industry. Lynne had a passion for sailing which was found by some remarkable adventures early in her career. Her passion for the art of sailmaking has inspired many. Though Lynne has retired, she still provides mentorship and guidance to the business today. Kendall Blake has recently acquired the business, and is going to continue to work to the high standards in craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction that Lynne has provided her customers over the years. Kendall was given the opportunity to learn the craft in 2009 when he joined Lynne's shop to work on the handworking bench finishing new sails and canvas items. Soon after, he too was inspired by the craft in San Francisco until moving home to continue the service to the community. The business made the transition in April of 2013, and will continue to do business from its current location in Eugene Oregon serving the local sailing community, and others around the regi on.
